ACE Explorientation: The Soundtrack

In the early Autumn of 2002, as UCSD's 6th College's first freshman class arrived at UCSD, Active Campus Explorer--a collaboration of CAL(IT)2, the Department of Computer Science and Engineering, the Department of Visual Arts, the Digital Ethnographers Workgroup, and Hewlett-Packard--got under way in exploring how the 6th College community would take to the new tools.

One outcome of this week-long Explorientation, which was only the beginning of long-term research and development, was a short, entertaining, and celebratory music video highlighting some interesting developments as the students acquired and began to use their PDAs.
